Trash the Dress

Mike and Amy are MARRIED!!!! The big day was on May 18th in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Although, the temperature on the day of the wedding set a new record low, everything was beautiful! When the sunshine finally came out, we managed to sneak in a "Trash the Dress" session. It was so fun!!!

It's getting warmer in Cleveland...I'm sure it's a trick. We can't be so lucky to start spring in the month of February. I guess I am a wishful thinker. I was driving down Lake Road today and noticed that Lake Erie is beginning to thaw. The excitment began to brew and bubble through me. I thought of all the fun stuff that I can't wait to do this spring and summer. I adore the fresh and new feeling of the Spring. It's as if everything is starting new. The smell of fresh flowers, birds singing, sun shining...We all get the chance to start again, a fresh start, that's what it feels like to me. Summer brings on a whole other set of feelings for me. I love to grill out, take the dogs swimming at the beach, ride bikes, sit on the deck with friends and family on warm nights, family vacations to the Outer Banks, bonfires in the backyard, long days with beautiful sunsets and most importantly, Kelleys Island! That was my first feeling as I saw the lake thawing today...I can't wait to get back to that Island! I love it there! Someday I will have my little cottage on the Island where memories can be made all summer long! My Poppy obviously shares the same sentiment as me!

January in Cleveland...

Since the winter seems to drag on and on in Cleveland, it's necessary to do something fun every once in awhile to prevent going crazy! Saturday seemed like the perfect day to do a little sledding and enjoy the snow!

This sign makes me laugh...it's "So Cleveland"...it might be snowing one minute and 70 degrees the next!
